Lifelong resident of Cambridge. Passed away peacefully after a brief illness on January 28, 2017, at the age of 66. Cherished father of Colleen Cusack of Medford. Loving son of the late Joseph P. Cusack, Sr. and Margaret E. (Bowler). Beloved brother of MaryAnn Cusack of Cambridge, Jean Cusack of Cambridge, William Cusack and his wife Maureen of NH, Ellen Wood and her husband William of Bridgewater, and the late Joseph P. Cusack, Jr. Proud uncle of Kelsey and Laurie Cusack, Madeline and Liam Cusack, and Megan, Laura, and Julia Wood. Also survived by many dear relatives and friends. Former husband of Katharine Gray of Medford. Proud graduate of BC High '68, Boston College '72, Past Pres. of Harry Folsom Club of Boston, Brockway Smith Co. Nat'l Acct. Sales Manager, General Manager J&C Adams, Active in many lumber industry organizations, HCBL Bridge Life Master, Past Secretary Treasurer of the Warren St. Club. Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 2175 Mass Ave., NORTH CAMBRIDGE on Thursday at 9 am. Followed by a Funeral mass celebrated in Saint Mary's Church, 134 Norfolk Street, Cambridge at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4 - 8 pm. Burial in Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in James' name may be made to the Boston College Strong Scholarship, Boston College, Office of University Advancement, Cadigan Alumni Center, 140 Commonwealth Avenue, Chestnut Hill, MA 02467.
