Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of William A. William A. "Bill" Roper
Roper, William A. “Bill”, of Arlington, March 27th, 2017. Beloved husband of Carol A. (Fitzsimmons) Roper. Devoted father of Patricia O’Brien, her husband Lawrence, of Amherst, William Roper, his wife Britta, of Groton and James M. Roper of Peabody. Also survived by 10 loving grandchildren. Brother of Joseph Roper and his wife Carolyn, of Plymouth. Further survived by several loving nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St. (adjacent to St. Agnes Church, Rt. 60) ARLINGTON, Saturday, April 1st at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Agnes Church, 30 Medford St. Arlington at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 thru 8PM. Services will conclude with burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington. Late US Navy veteran of the Korean War. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, MA/NH Chapter, 309 Waverly Oak Rd., Waltham, MA 02452.
