MALONEY, Nanci K.
Lifelong resident of Cambridge. Passed peacefully on April 3, 2017, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Beloved wife of 30 years to Douglas T. Ayoub of Cambridge. Loving mother of Nick and Callie Ayoub of Cambridge. Cherished daughter of James P. Maloney, Sr. of Cambridge and the late Barbara (Sullivan). Dear sister of James P. Maloney, Jr. and his wife Anne Greenwood of Cambridge, and John K. Maloney and his wife Barbara Devereux of Salem. Sister in law of Camille, Ron, Nancy, Karen, Richard and his wife Kathy Ryan, and Eric. Adored aunt of Jack and Kate, Elizabeth and Kate, Matthew, Kaitlin, and Brittany, Ricky and Meggie, and Josh and the late Kristin. Nanci is also survived by her cherished dog Jackson, many loving relatives, friends, coworkers, and students. She was a dedicated and proud teacher for over 25 years at Saint Kevin Elementary School in Dorchester, and more recently at St John Paul II Catholic Academy in Dorchester. Visiting Hours will be held from the Keefe Funeral Home, 2175 Mass Ave., NORTH CAMBRIDGE on Friday from 4-7pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at St. Peter’s Church, 100 Concord Avenue, Cambridge at 12pm. Burial will be Private. In lieu of flowers donations in Nanci’s memory may be made to the Nanci K. Maloney Scholarship Fund, Saint John Paul II Catholic Academy, 2200 Dorchester Ave, Dorchester, MA 02124.
