Obituary for Frances M. Slowe
Slowe, Frances M., lifelong resident of Somerville passed away in the company of loving family, April 24, 2017, after a long illness.
She was a graduate of Somerville High and Northeastern University. She worked 47 years at Northeastern University, at the time of her death she was director of Alumni Records.
She is survived by her sister, Margaret R. Slowe of Everett, MA, brother, James F. Slowe and his wife Susan, of Vanceboro, ME, nephew Dennis M. Savilonis, his friend Jolene Dorazio of Malden, MA, niece Margaret F. Savilonis and her husband Dirk Bender of New Haven, CT. Her grandnieces Emma Rose Bender of New Haven, CT and Gia Polci of Malden, MA. Longtime friend, Eleanor Dewire of Waltham, MA and many more loving family and friends. She will be remembered as a good and kind person.
A memorial service will be held at the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St., Arlington, Saturday, May 20th, from 1 - 3 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are to be made to the Animal Rescue League, 10 Chandler St., Boston, MA 02116 or American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
