Of Wakefield, passed peacefully on May 12, 2017, after an illness. Beloved husband of 52 years to Marie Bard O’Brien. Loving father of Karen McCormack and her husband Kerry of Eliot, ME, Rick O’Brien, Jr. and his partner Brenda Cassidy of Westford, and Jayne Lyons and her husband Pete of Chelmsford. Dear brother of Jim O’Brien and his wife Marilyn of VA, and twin brother of Bob O’Brien and his wife Joan of Framingham. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Dick loved reading and collecting. Relatives and friends invited to attend visiting hours at the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut Street, ARLINGTON on Monday from 10am – 11am, followed by his Funeral Mass in St. Agnes Church, 30 Medford Street, Arlington.
