Obituary for Roslyn M. Smith

Roslyn M. Smith
Roslyn Smith age 62, a long time resident of Arlington, passed away on June 3rd at Mass General Hospital, after a long illness. She was the daughter of Dick (deceased) and Ann Smith of Arlington, and sister to David (Toni) Smith of New Bern, North Carolina, formerly of Rhode Island, and Sharon (Darrell) Tice of Mobile, Alabama. She is also survived by her nieces Maryann (Jason} Davis, Sara (Matt Gallagher} Smith, and great nephew Grady.

Roslyn was a gentle soul who loved family, friends, nature, animals, the water, outdoors and baking. She lived a life around these loves, traveling around the world scuba diving with friends, camping, fishing, loving her animals, and being around family while baking amazing Swedish cookies for the holidays.

She was a former Town Meeting Member, a life member of the North Shore Froggies, the Finatics Club, and a founding member of A-DOG, Arlington Dog Owners Group.

We wish to acknowledge the team at Mass General Hospital Cancer Center who cared for Roslyn and to support promising cancer research.
