Condolence: With Deepest Sympathies to Bo and to Katie:
I know having you as her family gave her great joy and great comfort. It provided her even more strength, courage, and perseverance to live life fully. I know she wanted to be here with you, to love and be loved, for as long as possible. It is the best testament of her love for you both.
For me I found Dianne was always welcoming, kind, and accepting. Either she made an effort to make people feel comfortable or she had that natural ability. I always felt at ease with her. I think she had a way of making everyone feel comfortable with themselves when they were around her. It wasn’t anything obvious she did, it was just her presence. Sometimes the beauty in a person’s soul isn’t anything easily put to words. It’s best known by the feeling you have in your heart when you’re in their presence. That’s what I remember most about my sister Dianne, and that’s what I’ll miss most.

Condolence: Katie, I am so sorry to hear of your mothers passing. She was always so kind to me when we were younger. An amazing woman and mother. I hope you can find some comfort in knowing she is at peace and doesn't have to fight anymore. Sending you prayers and hugs to help you through the days ahead.

Condolence: I'm so sad for Bo, Katie, the Schaejbe's and the Demattia's. A bright light in your lives has been dimmed but rest assured it is not extinguished. What a brave and selfless woman Diane was, always cheerful despite her struggles. The title of "hero" is handed out like Halloween candy these days but I look to Diane as truly fitting the role. We can all learn from how she conducted her life and bravely fought for years a disease that could well have taken her from us much sooner. Cancer cannot steal eternal life and Diane will now experience that in Heaven, and in our hearts.
