Gerald Keith Harman, July 17, 1934 – July 3, 2017, Arlington, MA
Gerald Keith Harman passed away on July 3, 2017, at 82, from cancer. Gerry was raised near Springfield, Missouri, and joined the Navy after high school. With high intelligence, fearsome skills, immense kindness, and incredible charisma, Gerry became the ultimate gentleman warrior: a Navy SEAL. After serving as a “frogman” on the Underwater Demolition Team, GK joined SEAL Team One. After the Navy, GK worked as an Ocean Engineer. He married Alice (Bessette) in 1977, and raised 7 kids. They lived in Arlington, MA, San Diego, Okinawa, and Kennebunkport.
Gerry is preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Aileen; his brother, Barry Lane; and his daughter, Julie Reinhardt; he is survived by his wife, Alice; his children, Loretta Mosca, Heidi Harman, Jen Chase Chiasson, and Bobby, Ted and Dan Chiasson; his 10 beloved grandchildren; his brother, David; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
