Of North Andover, formerly of Cambridge. Passed peacefully on July 27, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of 41 years to Virginia “Ginny” (Bruce). Loving father of Kristin Murphy of FL, Kerry Pinkham and her husband Kristian of VA, and Becky Cesarski and her husband Eric of Haverhill. Adored Papa of Kaitlyn, Kendall and Kol. Dear brother of Molly Haley, Jeanette Zylicz, Theresa Lackie, Joseph Murphy, and Paul Murphy. He is predeceased by 7 brothers and sisters. Also survived by many cherished dogs, loving nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends. Philip proudly served the Harvard University Police Department for over 40 years. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at the West Newbury Congregational Church, 308 Main St, West Newbury, MA at 11am. Visiting Hours will be held at the Keefe Funeral Home, 2175 Mass Ave NORTH CAMBRIDGE on Tuesday from 4-8pm. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be Private.
