PORCIELLO, Deputy Fire Chief Stephen J. A lifelong Arlington resident. Passed away on Oct. 4th surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Joyce (Davanage). Loving father of Stephen Porciello and his wife Bethany of Woburn and Jenna Speck and her husband Ryan of RI. Cherished grandfather to Evelyn and Grace. Devoted son of Josephine Porciello of Arlington and the late Anthony Porciello. Brother of Anthony Porciello and his wife Nancy of Peabody, Rachel Cutliffe of Billerica, and Francis Porciello of Arlington. Son in law of Marilyn Davanage of Arlington. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Late Vietnam Navy veteran. Stephen was an Arlington fire fighter for 32 years and Deputy Chief for over 22 years. Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St. (adjacent to St. Agnes Church, Rt. 60) ARLINGTON, Thursday at 10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Agnes Church, 30 Medford St. Arlington at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4 – 8. Services will conclude with burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arlington Fire Fighters Relief Assoc., 1007 Mass Ave, Arlington, MA 02474.
