Sister Gertrude Mary of St. Patrick. The Little Sisters of the Poor of Somerville on October 8, 2017. Born in Central Falls, RI, beloved daughter of the late Leroy and Ethel (Carter) McIlmail. Cherished sister of Francis McIlmail and his wife Judy of Rochester MN, Mary LaPlante and her husband Oscar of Pawtucket RI, Angela Fascitelli and her husband Anthony of Cumberland RI, Veronica Newcombe and her husband David of Pawtucket RI, Martha Chartier and her husband Richard of Colonial Heights VA, Catherine Robichaud of Pawtucket RI, the late Charles McIlmail and Anthony J. McIlmail and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours in the Jeanne Jugan Residence - Little Sisters of the Poor, 186 Highland Avenue, Somerville on Wednesday, October 11 from 3:00pm-5:00pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Chapel of the Jeanne Jugan Residence on Thursday, October 12, 2017. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sr. Gertrude’s honor to the Little Sisters of the Poor -186 Highland Ave, Somerville, MA 02143. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
