Devoted mother of Maria Pommet of Billerica, Charles Carella, his wife Filomena, of Billerica, Michael Carella, his wife Theresa, of Lansing, MI, Robert Carella, his wife Theresa of Beverly, Joanne Sobieski and her husband Mark of Furlong, PA and Joseph Carella and his wife Carole of Bedford. Loving grandmother of Rick Pommet, Cynthia Moses, Suzanne Carella, Lynette Young, Melissa Carella, Anna Carella, Katie Franklin, Emily Franklin, Grace Carella, Andrew Carella, Emily Sobieski, Mark Steven Sobieski, Hayley Sobieski, Michael Sobieski, Matthew Carella, Alexandra Lacy and Forrest Lacy. Loving great grandmother of Ella and Ian Moses, Thomas Young and Sophia Hale. Sister of Palma Guarna of Woburn, Theresa Salerno of Somerville, Nancy Agostino of NY, Anthony Galluzzo of Woburn, Nicholas Galluzzo of Revere, Salvatore Galluzzo of Stoneham and the late Rose Lombardo, Maria Mercuri, and Matilda Scarfo. Former mother-in-law of Pamela Carella and Joan Carella-McConnell. Further survived by many loving cousins, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Sunday, October 29th from 4 – 8PM at the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St. (adjacent to St. Agnes Church, Rt. 60) ARLINGTON. A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Agnes Church, Medford St. Arlington, Monday, October 30th at 11:30 AM. Please go directly to church. Services will conclude with entombment at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Waltham. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made in Carmela’s name to Bread on the Common, St. Anthony Shrine, 100 Arch St. Boston, MA 02110.
