The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Walter E. Dooley can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

While we only met Walter a few times, but Kevin has told us countless stories about him, which have made him very real to us. We know how difficult the last few years have been for you all. Even though caring for a parent with Alzheimers can be so challenging, you still have that parent, and I know how tough it is to say goodbye. I hope you are somewhat comforted knowing that Walter is with Rita again. They've left a tight-knit family with a wonderful legacy of memories.
