O’MALLEY, Mary F. (Tahaney). Passed away peacefully at Marist Hill Nursing Center in Waltham on December 7, 2017. Loving mother of Thomas P. O’Malley and his wife Amy of Boston and Milford, CT, Anne M. Valeri and her husband Carl of Arlington, James L. O’Malley of Brighton, Mary Regina Eskridge and her husband Lee of Manassas Park, VA, and Catherine M. Miller and her late husband Derrek of Medford. Devoted grandmother of Christina and Robert Valeri of Arlington and Christian O’Malley and Mia Miller of Medford. Sister of Sr. Catherine Tahaney OP, Sr. Anne Tahaney OP, Alice Tahaney, and Margaret Dunleavy all of New York, and the late Msgr. James Leo Tahaney. Mary was a long time employee of Verizon. Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St. (adjacent to St. Agnes Church, Rt. 60) ARLINGTON, Thursday at 9AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Camillus’ Church, Concord Turnpike, Arlington at 10AM. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 pm. Burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Marist Hill Nursing Home’s Residents Activity Fund, 66 Newton St., Waltham, MA 02453.
