REID, Madeleine L. (Nighelli),
Lifelong resident of Davis Square, Somerville. Passed peacefully on February 20, 2018 at the age of 95, surrounded by her family and friends at the Meadow Green Nursing Home in Waltham. She was born in Assonet, MA in 1922 to the late Corrado and Louisa Nighelli of Somerville, originally from Italy. Beloved wife of the late Reginald Ivan Reid. Loving mother of Roberta Powers of Revere and Helen Graham and her husband Kevin of Littleton. Cherished grandmother of Deborah Jean Levine and her husband Marc of Chelmsford, Andrea Graham and her husband Brian Alcorn of Westford, Joseph Graham and his wife Eryn of Tewksbury, and Abby and Amanda Graham of Littleton. Proud great grandmother of Daniel and Ethan Levine of Chelmsford. Dear sister of Mary Coccoluto of Somerville, Robert Nighelli of Scituate, and the late Benjamin, Ugo, Nick and James Nighelli, and Teresa Dattoli. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Visiting Hours will be held at the Keefe Funeral, 2175 Mass Ave NORTH CAMBRIDGE, on Friday from 10am-12pm. A Prayer Service will immediately follow in the Funeral Home from 12pm. Burial to conclude at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
