Condolence: Dear Joan and Family - So sorry to hear of Roland's passing. I taught with Roland at the M.E. Fitzgerald at the beginning of my teaching career (1970's). He was a great mentor and we had a lot of fun. I have many memories of my time spent in Cambridge and all the wonderful people I met, Roland one of the special ones. Take care and may Roland rest in peace. He was a great man.

Condolence: Dear Family members,
I'm very sorry for your loss. I knew Roland when he was the CTA president. He spent time helping me with a personal teaching dispute and I recall how supportive and nice he was to me. Roland worked hard for all of us and will be fondly remembered.
Warm regards

Condolence: Dear Joan , Andrea, Mark, Kathy, Joanie and families, there are no words to describe the many times we all laughed, shared good times and shared the ups and downs of life together! Roland and Joan were always there ! Every year a birthday card at Christmas, Roland at the front door dropping it off ! Such wonderful memories ! I remember the last time I saw Roland, smiling in his chair , always accepting of his many challenges with love, gratitude and so much faith! Joan at his side , always! Love you all, you are in my pocket and will always be in my heart! Peace Roland!

Condolence: Such a sad loss of a great man. I had the pleasure of have Mr. Lachance as a math teacher at the M.E. Fitzgerald School, and thankfully, most recently at the North Cambridge Luncheons for quite a few years now. He was always happy to see me and give a hug as he did with most people there. I am so glad they chose to honor him this past September at the Luncheon, with his family at his side. I'm glad they all got to see how much he was loved by all. I am going to miss see him there, terribly. Sending my love and blessings to his wife Joan and his lovely family. May God bless you in this time of loss.
