Of Arlington. Passed away peacefully on March 21, 2018, at the age of 97. Beloved husband of 65 years to the late Irene B. (Fitzpatrick). Loving father of Christine M. Silva of Woburn and the late John “Jack” Cotter, III. Cherished grandfather of Eric J. Silva of Washington, DC. Dear brother of William Cotter and his wife Barbara. John is also survived and loved by many nieces, nephews, and relatives.
