Alice G.  St. Martin
St. Martin, Alice G. (Furlong), of Arlington, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved daughter of the late John B. Furlong and Effie M. (Hamilton). Loving wife of 61 years to Wilfred J. St. Martin, Jr. of Arlington. Devoted mother of Denise Dempsey and her husband Robert of Burlington. Proud ‘Nana’ of Colin Dempsey and his wife Melissa of Billerica. Cherished great grandmother of Aiden Robert Dempsey. Dear sister of Patricia Koerber of Wells, ME, and Frances MacDonald of Arlington. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Former receptionist for the Saltmarsh Insurance Agency in Winchester until her retirement at the age of 82. Past President of the American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 39, Arlington. Alice was also an excellent cook, she shared her skills with the Clergy and staff of the St. Camillus Rectory in Arlington for over 10 years. Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St. (adjacent to St. Agnes Church, Rt. 60) ARLINGTON, Wednesday at 10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Agnes Church, 30 Medford St. Arlington at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 – 8 PM. Interment in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington. In lieu of flowers, donations in Alice’s memory may be made to the American Brain Tumor Association, 8550 W. Bryn Mawr Ave. Ste 550, Chicago, IL 60631.
