Kenneth L.  Mangano
Mangano, Kenneth L. of Cambridge, formerly of Arlington, passed away peacefully at home on December 2nd, 2017 at age 75. Devoted, cherished father of Gina Mangano of Bradford, the late Terri Ann (Mangano) Griffin and Michael P. Mangano. Devoted, dedicated, loving grandfather "Papa" of Mia Griffin and Kalei Griffin, both of Bradford. Former husband of Theresa Robbio of Bradford. Beloved brother of Carol Polechio and her husband Richard of Billerica and Harold Brobst of Reading. Further survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Kenneth lived most of his life in the City of Cambridge until he and his family moved and lived in Arlington for about 18years. He returned to Cambridge in 1998.
Kenneth was a long time employee of Just-A-Start Corporation in Cambridge for over 30 years and retired due to illness in January 2007.
Late US Army Veteran of the Cold War in Germany. Kenneth joined the Army in 1961 for two years and then joined the Army National Guard for many years thereafter.
Kenneth was a member and past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus of Arlington. He joined the Knights of Columbus in September 1995 and was the Grand Knight from 1999-2000.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his memory to the Somerville Cambridge Elder Services, 61 Medford Street, Somerville, MA 02143.
A memorial service is being held on Friday, December, 15, 2017 at The American Legion Post 39, 370 Massachusetts Avenue, Arlington, MA, 02474 from 5 to 9pm. Please join family and friends for this "Celebration of Kenny's Life".
