James A.  Hill
Hill, James A, of Arlington died suddenly February 17, 2017. Beloved husband of Paula Vergith and loving father of Adrienne Vergith-Hill. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. and Carolyn A. Hill of Rumson, NJ. Jim is also survived by his devoted brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Robert Hill and Dr. Rachel Hill of Hamburg, New York, his four greatly loved nephews, Dr. Adam Hill of Astoria, New York, Ethan Hill, Esq. of Lakewood, Ohio, Ian Hill of Rockville, Maryland and Dr. Matthew Hill of Belmont, California, his dear Quin cousins, as well as cherished friends.
Jim grew up in Rumson, graduated Davidson College, and was a software developer for his entire career, most recently at Fidelity Investments. Jim was a life-long tennis player, a lover of trains, and an avid Boston sports fan who completely enjoyed watching the NE Patriots in Super Bowl LI at least four times.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St, ARLINGTON on Friday from 6 to 7 pm, followed by a memorial service at 7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim’s name may be made to Greater Boston Food Bank www.gbfb.org or Boston Children’s Hospital www.giving.childrenshospital.org.
